RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating damage at the historical society and have made an arrest.
Just after 11a.m. Wednesday, officers filed a report for criminal damage to property and criminal trespass at the Riley County Historical Society Museum, 2309 Claflin Road in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
The museum reported a known male suspect entered the museum by breaking a window and additional items inside. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,980.
Police arrested 34-year-old Arthur Mickey Jr. of Ogden on a probable cause offenses of criminal damage to property and criminal trespass. Mickey Jr. remains jailed on $3,000 bond.
