The 100th year of the Geary County Free Fair began on Thursday night at the Geary County Senior Center with the 4-H Public Revue and royalty announcement.

With this year being its "Centennial Celebration," the evening featured lots of birthday references throughout the night.

For example, to begin the Public Revue, it was stated, "Let's light the candles and celebrate this great birthday party."

A large crowd was in attendance for the "birthday bash," as approximately 40 4-H students participated in the fashion revue, with a total of 70 outfits displayed for the large crowd.

At the end of the 4-H Public Revue and fashion show, the 2026 royalty were announced, including the 2026 King and Queen.
