Kan. felon back in Riley County jail on new allegations

RILEY COUNTY—A Kansas felon is back in jail on new allegations.

Just before 5p.m. Thursday, police arrested 34-year-old Jeremy Richmond of Topeka on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

This arrest stems from original charges of flee and elude, contributing to child misconduct, aggravated endangerment of child and interference with a law enforcement officer. Richmond remains jailed on a $20,000 bond.

Richardson has a previous conviction for "Intro Contraband; non firearm, ammo, explosive, controlled substance by non employee," according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
