KDOT has announced that from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, a portion of K-18 in Dickinson County is expected to close for the replacement of the railroad crossing just northwest of Talmage.
During the removal and replacement of the existing railroad crossing, K-18 will be closed to all traffic. Through traffic on K-18 will be directed to follow the signed detour on U.S. 81, I70 and K-15. KDOT uses state highways for official detour routes for safety, weight and maintenance concerns.
