Geary County Emergency Management passed along hot weather forecast information. September looks to stick with summer time weather for a little while, as hot and dry conditions are forecast for the first week of the month. A frontal system is expected next week. This may bring a chance for showers and storms along with slightly cooler temperatures. Winds are forecast at this time to be over 25mph and possibly up to 30.
