Stay in Your Car: If the water is not too deep, it's often safer to stay in your vehicle until help arrives.3. Call for Help: Use your phone to call emergency services and inform them of your location.4. Move to Higher Ground: If water is rising inside the car, get out and move to higher ground, if it is safe to do so.5. Avoid Moving Water: Do not walk through moving water, as even a few inches can knock you off your feet.6. Turn on Hazard Lights: Make your car more visible to rescuers by turning on your hazard lights.7. Do Not Touch Power Lines: Avoid any downed power lines or electrical equipment that may be in contact with water. Remember, your safety is the most important thing.
