Approximately 400 wrestlers, varsity and junior varsity, competed in an invitational at Junction City High School on Saturday.
For the boys varsity from Junction City, Ezekiel Witt finished first at 113 pounds, Rowan Carey third at 126 pounds, Patrick Foxworth first at 136, Kayden Blake third 144, Griffin Bohanan second 165 and Nathan Agudzi-Addo third 285.
For the Lady Jays Jaidyn Alvarado captured first at 100 pounds, Patience Okemba third at 105, Elaine Twitty second 125, Abigail Paskow third 130, Naomi Tanaka fifth 140, Aislynn Bailey fourth 170 and Kennedi Turner third at 235 pounds.
In the team competition the Blue Jays finished second and the Lady Jays fifth.
