Wheels of H.O.P.E.. collaborates with USD 475 to reach the community's most food-insecure school-aged children and their families.
Geary County Food Pantry has purchased land at the corner of 7th and Clay Street to build a future new facility that will enable them to help more people and better serve current clients. Geary County contributed $50,000 toward that project.
Geary County has one of the highest rates of food insecurity in Kansas at 13.3%.
