Due to cost increases with waste disposal, customers of the Geary County Transfer Station will see a price increase effective January 1, 2026.
The County reported that the new tipping fee rate will be $76.00 per ton. The minimum fee of 500 pounds or less will increase to $19.00.The cost for commercial tree trimming companies for the disposal of trees and brush will remain the same at $15.00 per ton. One ton minimum.
