The JC Breakfast Optimist Club is having a fundraiser event at the American Legion at Fourth and Franklin Streets on September 13 from 7:00 AM-10:00 AM.Tickets will be available only at the door at a cost of $10.00 each.
This fundraiser is called "Lift The Burden". Money raised will be designated for USD 475 students who have past due breakfast/lunch accounts. Enjoy a breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, orange juice and coffee and help families who are experiencing economic challenges in paying for their child's breakfast and/or lunch accounts which are past due.
