RILEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after noon Friday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by Danae Cartright, 20, of Manhattan rear-ended a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Miranda Idleman, 38, Manhattan who was stopped on Bluemont Ave. waiting to turn north onto N. 9th Street.
EMS transported Cartright to Via Christi for treatment of a head contusion and was released. Police also issued Cartright a citation for inattentive driving. Idleman was not injured.
