A traditional summertime activity returns in Junction City Monday. City Manager Allen Dinkel confirmed that the Municipal Swimming Pool will open Monday at 1 p.m. COVID-19 had forced a delay in the opening this year.
The City provided the details on the pool opening.
Days of Operation: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, however the pool will be open on June 24th and 25th (Wednesday and Thursday) during the first week of being opened.
Closed Wednesday and Thursday
· Open Swim 1:00 PM – 3:45 PM
o Close for sanitizing 3:45 PM – 4:15 PM
· Open Swim 4:15 PM – 7:00 PM
· Annual Pool Passes not available this pool season
· Entry fee paid each visit $3.00 ages 3+
Swim Lessons Session 1 Levels 1 and 2 ONLY (Maximum 20 Per Session)
Session 1
July 10 – July 21
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
Morning Session: 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM
Evening Session: 7:15 PM – 8:00 PM
Sign up in person at the 12th St Community Center or the Municipal Pool
