The Pedal Pull, and 4-H Horse Show on Sunday and the 4-H Food Judging and Sale on Monday have been early highlights at the Geary County Free Fair.

Fairgoers could be dealing with a a substantial heat wave this week. Ginger Kopfer, 4-H Extension Agent, said for the animals there will be plenty of water."We have misters, we have fans. A lot of the time they're more comfortable here than they are at home." More water was also being brought in for people on Monday.
High temperature could impact the crowd attendance. Referring to past years Kopfer noted, 'Absolutely, I think we've shown that." But she also added for this Thursday it appears the temperatures may cool down a little bit.
The fair continues through Thursday.
