RILEY COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Friday in Riley County.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity reported. a 2023 GMC Sierra driven by Andrew Biery, 40 Manhattan, struck a 2023 Chrysler Voyager driven by Andrea Carter, 47, of Manhattan, in the 6300 block of Fort Riley Boulevard.
EMS transported Carter and Rosaline Sheppard, 51, a passenger in the Voyager to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of injuries. Carter was also issued a citation for improper driving on a laned roadway.
