Geary Undersheriff David Gilbert confirmed that one person, Marlow Williams Jr., was transported to Stormont Vail Health Flint Hills Campus Thursday for treatment of minor injuries following an accident on I-70. Williams was traveling east near mile marker 302 when the rollover accident occurred. The accident occurred just before noon during a thunderstorm.
Multiple other accidents occurred during the thunderstorm that was moving through the area, but no other injuries were reported.
