The Felix Snipes Foundation is hosting a Summer Skate for Elementary School Kids and also an adult skate in the coming weeks.
The first skate for the kids is this Saturday, July 19, from 5-7 p.m. at Spin City in Junction City.
Admission to the kids summer skate is $1 per child. Ages eight and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Concessions will be available for purchase at the event.
Then, next Saturday, July 26, the Felix Snipes Foundation is hosting an adult skate. The Adult Skate called "Boots on the Ground", Blues and Country Adult Skate and Dance with will also have a live DJ. The adult skate is 21 and older. Dress in your western/country attire.
The cost to attend is $7 per person. All proceeds from the event go toward USD 475 student late fees.
