Junction City and the Baldwin City Blues will meet in the semifinal round of the Mid Plains League playoffs this weekend.
Baldwin City defeated the Topeka Golden Giants in a first round series while the Junction City Brigade received a bye.
Brigade General Manager Cecil Aska said that game one of the series between the Blues and the Brigade will be Friday night in Baldwin City. Game two will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Rathert Field in Junction City. If a game three is necessary in the best two out of three series it will be played at Rathert Field Sunday evening.
Sabetha also received a first round bye in the playoffs and will await the winner of the series between the Midwest A's and the Lawrence Travelers.
