In the weekly meeting of the JC Breakfast Optimist Club a donation was made to the Junction City Little Theater’s (JCLT) Summer Program for youth. There were 120 youth involved this summer in two different shows with participation based on their age group. The program introduces them to the art of live theater through auditions, stage craft, tech, and rehearsal, which culminates in a full-length production.
Ellie Dillon, JCLT President and Michelle Custer, JCLT Secretary shared that the local theater group of amateur actors and musicians is celebrating their 75th Anniversary, having begun in 1949.
The 2024-25 season for adult actors will begin with the musical A Chorus Line. Dates for the production are August 23, 24, 30, and 31 at 7:30 PM August 25 and September 1 at 2:00 PM in the C.L.
