Cindy Tunheim, 67 died February 23, 2021 in Clay Center, KS. She was born on February 6, 1954 in Clay Center, the daughter of Charles “Chuck” and Lois (Peterson) Gelino. Cindy was raised in Morganville and was a graduate of CCCHS Class of 1972. She received her cosmetology license from Salina Academy of Hair and Design. Cindy worked at Judy’s Hair biz for three years before opening her own business, New Impressions Hair and Body Care. She was also the beautician at the Clay Center Presbyterian Manor for 16 years, retiring in 2020. Cindy was preceded in death by husband, Ron Thomas, her parents and grandparents. Her children and grandchildren were her world. Cindy did not know a stranger and was willing to help anyone in need. She was loved by all and wll be missed by many.

Funeral Services: Private, family services are scheduled. The public is invited to join the family at 12 p.m. Friday, March 5 at the Clay Center Elks Club for food and fellowship.
Visitation: Thursday, March 4, from 3-7 p.m. at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
