FAITH TABERNACLE APOSTOLIC CHURCH, JUNCTION CITY – The 2022 Apostolic Doctrine and Holiness Conference recently held for two days and three nights at Faith Tabernacle in Junction City.

Seven messages from six preachers quickly established then built upon a common theme focusing on the church and its work in this day and hour. Bishop Tom Johnson, Colorado Springs preached the first night using Cavanal Hill in Oklahoma as a simile. Celebrated as the tallest hill in the world, it is one foot short of being a mountain.

Elder John Padget, Enterprise Alabama taught the necessity of using the Word of God and Spirit of God when navigating life. In the ocean, without landmarks, each wave and day looks the same. In searching the heavens and horizon, the knowledge of time allows the sailor to chart his place and navigate the ocean.

The annual Apostolic Doctrine and Holiness Conference, first held in 1995, is a joint venture between Heritage Family Church, Wichita, and Faith Tabernacle. With 1,687 in attendance, Faith Tabernacle hosted meals for ministers and their families at Apostolic Academy on Rucker Road while young people enjoyed evening food and fellowship at the 4H center. A youth lock-in at the HD Karns facility concluded the conference on Friday night.
