RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating an alleged auto theft in Manhattan.
On Monday, officers filed a report for motor vehicle theft in the 4600 block of Skyway Drive in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Redline Autoplaza reported 47-year-old Deborah Heiser of Colorado Springs, Colorado purchased a 2012 Chrystler 300 for $21,711 on January 24, 2024, without secured financing.
Additionally, Heiser has not made any payments on said vehicle. Attempts to contact Heiser by Redline Autoplaza have been unsuccessful as have attempts to repossess the vehicle.
