RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspects for an alleged violent attack.
Just after 2p.m. Tuesday, officers filed a report of aggravated assault in the 1500 block of Pillsbury Drive, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 55-year-old man and a 45-year-old man reported a known 31-year-old man attacked them with a knife. Jose Maria Lara, 31, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 3:19 p.m. Lara remains jailed on an $8,000 bond.
