JUNCTION CITY, Kan. - The No. 8 ranked Junction City High School football teams season opener on Friday, Sept. 4 versus No. 7 Hays High School will now kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
With the adjusted game time, gates will open at 6:30 p.m. and it will be United Way of Junction City Kick-Off Night inside Blue Jay Stadium. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate for $7 (adults) and $5 (students).
The Blue Jays, who return several key starters from a year ago, are coming off a season that saw them not only capture the Centennial League title but also record a 7-3 overall record in 2025.
