Geary County Commission Chair Trish Giordano said Monday that she was proud of how the community came together during the water crisis this past week. "Emergency Management worked real well with the City and we had everybody from out in the county, Milford. Even Riley County came and helped with some water distribution. I was extremely proud. "
Junction City lost water service Thursday after the basement of the water plant flooded. For some service was not restored until Saturday or Sunday.
