MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities are investigating an altercation that sent a Manhattan man to the hospital.
Just before 3a.m. Thursday, officers filed a report for aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, domestic battery, and criminal damage to property in the 700 block of Griffith Dr. in Manhattan.
A 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man as a victims and suspect were involved in a domestic altercation, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
It was reported the male hit the female, then a 23-year-old female suspect intervened, cut the male on the arm with a broken glass bottle, stole his Samsung cell phone, and left the scene. EMS transported the male victim to Via Christi for treatment of his significant arm injuries. He was later transferred to Stormont Via for further treatment, but is expected to recover.
