From March 25th to April 7 the average daily inmate population in the Geary County Detention Center totaled 97. Sheriff Nate Boeckman reported that number to the county commission on Monday. He noted that during the two-week period there were 30 arrests.
The Sheriff's Department is in the process of shifting to green shirts and green jackets for officers.
In other business Commission Chair Kathy Tremont suggested reaching out to Saline County about their livestream camera. She noted there is a clear picture. Cost would be one question.
