2 jailed after alleged theft in Manhattan

RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on multiple allegations after an incident 

Just before 10a.m. Sunday, officers filed a report for theft, criminal damage to property, criminal possession of a weapon by felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of opiate, and distribute certain stimulate in the 500 block of McCall Road in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

Menards reported a 58-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man took items from a victim and were later found to be in possession of illegal items. Ginger Moore, 58, of Wamego, was arrested on requested charges of theft, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of opiate, and distribute certain stimulate. 

Peter Henry, 35, of Salina, was arrested on requested charges of theft, criminal damage to property, criminal possession of a weapon by felon, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of opiate, and distribute certain stimulate.

 Moore and Henry are being held without bond at the Pottawatomie County Jail.
