Geary County Historical Society has cancelled its Spring Valley Historic Site open house today due to weather. The event will be rescheduled at a later date, according to Heather Hagedorn, Executive Director/Curator.
In its place a "Fan Favorites" STEAM Saturday event will be held at the museum at 530 N. Adams. STEAM Saturday will run from 1:00-3:30 p.m. and will include science experiments like Bath Bomb making, engineering with giant tangrams and more favorites from past STEAM events.
