State Treasurer will pay a visit

TOPEKA— State Treasurer Lynn Rogers will be traveling to Wamego, Manhattan, and Junction City on Wednesday to continue his statewide Unclaimed Property Tour, meeting with Kansans and reuniting them with their cash and property.

Since January 4, 2021, the Unclaimed Property Division has returned over $10 million in property to Kansans across the state with an average claim of about $200.Geary County residents have a total of 50,325 unclaimed property claims worth $4,271,502.67. Riley County residents have a total of 57,026 unclaimed property claims worth $5,477,717.37. Pottawatomie residents have a total of 10,903 unclaimed property claims worth $944,918.72.

Wamego Public Library– 10:00-11:00 a.m.431 Lincoln Ave. Wamego.

Bluestem Bistro – 11:45-12:45 p.m.1219 Moro St. Manhattan.

Bob's Coffee Shop– 2:30-3:30 p.m. 110 E Eighth St. Junction City.
