First Annual Splash Palooza is coming August 13-14 to Milford Lake
According to the Convention & Visitor's Bureau a Glow Run 5k is planned Friday evening with check in starting at 7 p.m. The race will begin at 8:30 at Acorns Resort. To register for the 5K visit https://register.chronotrack.com/r/61836.
Activities continue with the annual Float Your Boat cardboard boat races Saturday the 14th. Check in will be from 11 to noon with judging to follow. Boats will hit the water at 1 p.m.
At 5 p.m., the first of two bands will hit the stage. Fast Times will play from 5 to 8 p.m. followed by The HYPE from 9 to 11 p.m. This event is hosted by the Geary County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Acorns Resort.
