Hayden Shields is a junior at Junction City High School and is the JC Breakfast Optimist Club's Student of the Month.&nbsp;

 The JCHS Junior Optimist International Club, led by President Morgan Nabus,&nbsp; and a committee of JOI Club members reviewed and selected Hayden from other nominees.&nbsp; 

Hayden is in the Fine Arts and Human Services Academy and has been working in an internship with Mainstreet in Junction City.&nbsp; She plans to attend college following high school graduation and study sports marketing.&nbsp;
