On Friday, May 1st the annual Geary County 3rd Grade Ag Day, where over 600 3rd graders in the Geary County School District will come to the 4-H Fairgrounds (located at 1025 South Spring Valley Road) and learn about the agriculture industry. The programs are taught by industry professionals and 4-H members from Geary County.
There will be classroom-type presentations as well as presentations involving livestock.
The first session is from 9:15am until 11:15am and the second session is from 11:45am until 1:45pm.
