The Junction City Ladies Reading Club will host a pecan sale and luncheon this Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The event will be at 224 N. Jefferson St. in Junction City. 

 At the event,  pecans for the holidays will be available for purchase. Pecans are $13 per bag. Pies will also be available. There will also be an opportunity to purchase chances for a quilt. The quilt was made by Char Grelk, and the tickets are two dollars each.&nbsp;Soup and a dessert lunch will be available as well.

The Ladies' Reading Club is celebrating its 150th sesquicentennial year.
