It's a hot and humid start to Tuesday. But an expected a cold front moves through late Wednesday and brings relief from the heat. Near-daily afternoon storm chances will be possible, but no day looks like a total washout.
WHAT TO KNOW: Hot temperatures and high humidity will bring uncomfortably warm conditions Tuesday.
Expect Heat index vales of 100-107 and High temperatures of 90-95.
Warm and humid conditions continue into Wednesday, with index values peaking around 95-100 before a cold front moves in.
WHAT TO DO: Drink Plenty of water. Beverages and electrolytes can also help protect against heat stress.
NEVER leave people or pets in a vehicle.
Wear lightweight, loose-fitting, and light-colored clothing.
Take regular breaks in the shade
