SHAWNEE COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Thursday in Shawnee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Honda Fit driven by Alexandra Jane Anderson, 27, Manhattan, was eastbound on Interstate 70 at West Union Road.
The driver lost control of the car. It traveled through the right ditch and came to rest on the off ramp to West Union Road.
EMS transported Anderson and a 6-year-old passenger to Stormont Vail in Topeka. A second adult passenger was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
