The City of Junction City CLEAN Team will celebrate Earth Day by hosting Operation Clean Sweep on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
In case of inclement weather, a backup date has been scheduled for April 25, allowing volunteers the opportunity to plan ahead.
Volunteers are needed for this annual community-wide cleanup event.
Schedule:• Volunteers should report to Spin City (915 South Washington) at 8:00 a.m.
Buses will depart at 8:30 a.m. to assigned cleanup locations
Transportation provided by First Student, Inc.•
Please bring gloves and drinking water (extras will be available on each bus if needed)• Lunch will be provided at 11:45 a.m. Serving Hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Sausages will be provided by Smithfield Foods.
