JC Breakfast Optimist Club
The JC Breakfast Optimist Club members met at the Hampton Inn on September 23. Their guest speaker was John Triplett, who is directing an upcoming play for the Junction City Little Theater.
John told club members that “the play is a one act comedy written by Kamron Klitgaard for no more than 15 actors. It is necessary to read numerous plays, watch shows, and attend other productions” before selecting a play. He also stated that “ permission must be received before auditions and casting; royalties paid; actors selected; rehearsals selected; props, furniture, lighting, music before and after the production must be considered; publicity; ticket sales; concession sales and more.”
The play, Complaint Department – Make Lemonade will be presented at the Junction City Little Theater Annex at 135 W. Seventh Street in Junction City beginning at 7:30 PM. on October 1, 2 and 3. There is limited seating for fifty-two people. Tickets may only be purchased at the door
