The City of Junction City held a School’s Out Skate on Thursday, May 23rd. We had a great turn-out with almost 300 paid skaters. The next public skate date is Wednesday, June 12th from 1-5p.m. Admission is $7.00 per skater.

The City Swimming pool opened Saturday, May 25th. There were over 1,000 swimmers in our first four days of operation! The pool is open Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, and Sunday from 1p.m.-7p.m. Admission is $3.00 per person. Season passes are available for purchase. A family pass for a family of four is $150.00. Individual season passes are $45.00. Reminder… the Spray Park is open seven days a week from 8a.m.-7p.m., weather permitting. The Spray Park is free to the public!

This past week 12 trees were planted in Heritage Park. Six of these trees replaced the dead and dying trees that were removed this Spring. The other six were new additions to further improve the beauty of the park!
