Geary County Emergency Management has provided information from the National Weather Service on the possibility of storms today and tonight.
Confidence for severe storms moving into the area tonight from south central and southeastern Nebraska is medium to high. What is low to medium confidence is IF storms form in advance of this activity by mid to late afternoon directly over the forecast area then storms may tend to slow and weaken later as they move into the area from Nebraska.
Either scenario is expected to pose a threat of severe storms over area by this afternoon into this evening.
