Milford Lake Corps of Engineers will conduct an archery draw

There will be an archery draw for 40 deer hunting permits on Aug. 27th on the front lawn of the Milford Lake Corps of Engineers Office, 5203 N. Highway, K-57 Highway on the south end of the Milford Dam.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the draw for a hunting location is set for 9:30 a.m.

Hunting locations and permits include:

--Milford Fish Hatchery 1 permit, Former K-State Lease 4, East Rolling Hills Park 2, West Rolling Hills Park 5 permits, Curtis Creek Park 10, School Creek Park 10, South Timber Creek Park 2 permits, North Timber Creek Park 4 and Farnum Creek Park 2 permits.

According to the Corps all hunters must be present, and a Photo Id is required to register. Crossbows will not be allowed except for disabled hunters, & mentor youth, which is an option at some locations.

Dates for these hunting opportunities begin October 1 and many extend through December 31, 2022. For additional information on these hunting opportunities contact the Milford Lake Corps of Engineers office at 785-238-5714, x3754.
