The Geary Sheriff's deprtment said at 0411 a.m. Sunday Deputies responded to US-77 Highway mile marker 148 for a single vehicle injury accident. Diane Massey of Herington was traveling northbound in a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze when she slid off the roadway and struck a mailbox and culvert causing the airbags to deploy. Massey was transported by the Junction City Fire Department to Stormont Vail-Flint Hills for evaluation. The vehicle was removed by Renegade Wrecker Service.
