The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce presented its awards for excellence at its annual dinner last night at the Geary County Convention Center at the Courtyard by Marriott.
Award winners were:
Business Excellence- Honor Screenprinting and Embroidery
Outstanding CItzenship- Geary Riley Saline Alumnae Delta Sigma Theta Soroity, Inc.
Seitz Family Military Community Award - Daphne Maxwell
Eldon L. Hoyle Economic Development Award - Twin Valley
State Recognition was presented by Kansas State Representatives Nathan Butler and Jeff Underhill to Phyllis Fitzgerald, Director, Society of the 1st Division and Chuck Otte, recently retired, long-time Geary County Extention Agent.
The Emcee for the event was Kelly Cook, Cloud County Community College and the keynote speaker was Mary Martell, Vice President-Regional Administrator, Stormont Vail-Health.
