Shannon Strain, Manhattan, has joined the North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging as a career developer with the Older Kansans Employment Program.
Strain will help Kansas ages 55 or older who are seeking help and support in finding employment, and will also connect area employers who seek qualified applicants for their workforce.
"We are excited that Shannon will be available to continue our successful record of helping older job-seekers reach their goals and help employers strengthen their teams as our economy recovers from the pandemic, too, " said Julie Govert Walter, Executive Director of the Agency on Aging.
