RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged sex crimes.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a suspect identified as Luis Martinez, 31, of Topeka, allegedly battered a 37-year-old woman and forced her to stay in a room for an extended period of time.
Police located him already in custody in Pottawatomie County, arrested him on a warrant and transported him to the Riley County jail.
Martinez is being held on requested charges of aggravated domestic battery, aggravated criminal sodomy, and aggravated kidnapping on a $75,000 bond, according to the RCPD.
