THE NATIONAL WEATHERVICE SAID A COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST TUESDAY.

Very cold wind chills between 10 and 20 degrees below ARE expected. * IN Portions of central, east central, north central, and northeast Kansas. From 6 PM this evening to noon CST Tuesday. *

The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Exposed skin may quickly become frostbitten or frozen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
