Optimist welcome four new members

The JC Breakfast Optimist Club is a “Friend of Youth” organization.  The local club annually donates money to 17 different youth groups in Geary County.  Members are engaged in activities that support the growth and development of youth, our community, and our youth.  Celebration of Optimism meetings are held every Wednesday at the Hampton Inn in Junction City.  A free breakfast buffet is offered to those who attend for the first time beginning at 6:30 a.m.  Meetings begin at 6:50 a.m.

On March 1, four new members joined the club. They include Ryan Wilson, Steven Green, Lyn Green and Mike Taylor.

Local businesses that sponsor the club with advertisement money or in-kind service include Armed Forces Bank; Central National Bank; D.E.L.
