Junction City Main Street Release
--
Junction City, KS — Junction City Main Street successfully hosted its first-ever Innovation Expo, an event that brought the entrepreneurial energy of the Flint Hills region into the spotlight. Designed to celebrate creativity and bold business ideas, the Expo received 20 video submissions from both aspiring and established business owners.
A panel of judges reviewed each entry, evaluating innovation, community impact, and potential for growth. The excitement culminated in a special Facebook Live event on April 29, where finalists were announced and winners were awarded grants of up to $3,000 to support their business development and expansion efforts.
“The Innovation Expo was a tremendous success,” said Jordan McCann, Executive Director at Junction City Main Street. “It showcased the depth of talent and vision within our community, and we’re proud to support these entrepreneurs as they take the next steps in their journeys.”
The Innovation Expo marked an important milestone in Junction City’s ongoing efforts to foster local innovation and strengthen the small business community—one groundbreaking idea at a time.
