Kenneth Dean Muller, age 91 lifetime resident of Council Grove, Kansas passed away December 21, 2020. He was born January 3, 1929 in Abilene, KS to Fred and Nora (Leckron) Muller. He attended grade school in Delavan, before moving to the Hillsprings Community in 1938, where he attended school until the 8th grade. Kenneth lived his entire life in the Four Mile Community. He was in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. Kenneth married Donna Schoof Muller in 1954 and later divorced in 1992. He later married Eleanor Hertlein Phillips on February 14, 2003.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Freda Brockelman, son Todd Muller, and wife Eleanor.
Kenny is survived by his daughter Suzanne Hokett and husband Joe, of Salina; son Richard Muller and wife Tammy, of Council Grove; step-daughters Cindy Krisman (Dale), of Emporia and JaNell Brown (Jack), of Dwight; grandson Ty Muller of Austin, TX and granddaughter Megan McNeal (Henry) of Omaha, NE; Sara Weaver (Jesse) of Osage City and Jordan Krisman of Wichita; and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Kenny will lie in state from 1:00 to 3:00, Monday, December 28th, at Sawyer Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00, Tuesday, December 29th, at Four Mile Cemetery. Masks and social distancing are required. Memorial contributions may be made to Morris County Youth Rodeo Association or Morris County 4-H Foundation.
