MARSHALL COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities and USD 364 officials are investigating a student who allegedly had a gun on campus.
On Friday, police responded to Marysville High School after an observant teacher overheard a student claiming to have a firearm in his vehicle, according to a media release.
Numerous officers were dispatched and one student was taken into custody immediately.
No firearms were located in the vehicle. Due to the student's age, police released no other information.
Police said they are thankful for the teacher immediately reporting the incident and the school district contacting law enforcement immediately.
