Geary County Emergency Management said emergency vehicles responded to East Rolling Hills at Milford Lake at around noon Wednesday. A male subject was struck by a boat prop while in the water.
Bystanders on scene treated the subject until emergency personnel arrived. He was flown by Lifestar Air Ambulance to a Wichita Hospital for further treatment.
Agencies responding included Junction City Fire/EMS, Geary County Sheriff, Geary County Emergency Management, Kansas Wildlife and Parks, Corp of Engineers, and Lifestar. Kansas Wildlife and Parks is in charge of the investigation on the incident.
